Is the Laptop Lifestyle Master Program Right for You?
I recently covered this program in a newsletter but I wanted to dive deeper with a full review.

What is the Laptop Lifestyle Master Program?
The Laptop Lifestyle Master Program (LLMP) is an intense 90 day program designed to guide you step-by-step to build a sustainable online business. The goal is to equip you to work from anywhere with just your laptop and an internet connection.
The program focuses on Social Medial Management, but it also covers many specialisations including content creation, email marketing, web design, graphic design, video editing, copywriting, SEO and paid advertising.
Who Made LLMP?
The program was created by Jet van Wijk. Jet’s journey to success is pretty inspiring. She started her career in hospitality, but after finding herself stuck in a corporate basement office with no windows, she decided that a change in career was in order.
Jet explored numerous online opportunities, eventually gaining the skills to build a multi six-figure marketing agency. Once she was successful, she decided to help others do the same by creating the Laptop Lifestyle Master Program.
Today, Jet and her team are dedicated to helping others to achieve financial freedom and create a life of flexibility and success through the LLMP program.
What to Expect from the Program
The LLMP website promotes the program for people wanting to leave their 9 – 5 job and work towards a six figure career. It also states:
“Imagine making $3,000 to $5,000 monthly, working from anywhere on your laptop using proven frameworks, strategies, and DFY templates…Well, we can help turn this imagination into a reality in just 90 days.”
Does this sound too good to be true?
Well, the website copy provides plenty of client testimonials which back up jet’s claims…and as a former student I thought that it’s worth separating the claims from the reality, so let’s get stuck in!
My Thoughts
As I said earlier, this is designed as an intense 90 day course. When I took the course I fell a bit behind due to personal circumstances, and Jet’s team very kindly gave me a slight extension. I’m not sure if this was a one-off, but in any case, if you’re willing to put in the effort the course can easily be completed in 90 days.
The course is split into six modules. Each module consists of videos and written informaiton for each section of the course followed by tasks that you need to complete. There are also assignments that you need to complete and send into the team for review. The modules cover topics such as mindset, skills breakdown, personal branding, setting up socials, creating an offer, getting clients, sales calls, marketing and managing clients.
I appreciated how the classes were all laid out on a step-by-step fashion, which made it easy to keep track of how far you have progressed. It also meant that I could fit the work around my schedule.
One of the great things about the course are the workshops, and there’s one workshop for each module. These are essentially video calls with the LLMP coach and a small group of fellow students. I found that these were really good for getting feedback on my work, and I learnt a lot from the questions that the other students asked, as the other students are at the same point in the program as you. There are also weekly coaching calls which are great for discussing things with the coaches and fellow students.
There is also a Discord group, and this includes a 1:1 channel your personal coach. You have the same coach throughout the program and I thought this added a lot of value to the program. The convenience of asking a question in the chat and having the coach answer was great.
Community: Your Secret to Success
Another great thing about the program is the sense of community you get by joining the Discord Group. The group consists of all of the coaches as well as all the students. I found it to be a great resource for dealing with any problems that I had. Another bonus is that you get to stay in the Discord group, even after you have completed the program!
The course also encourages you join up with another students as an ‘accountability partner’. Again, loved this aspect of the program as my partner was at the same level of me and it really helped to have someone to bounce ideas off or just to have a general catch up!
As well as the course itself, they also provide access to a knowledge base of over 220 videos called the Skills Vault. This is a nice bonus to the main course and even though I completed the course a while ago, I still check out the Skills Vault from time to time to check out any new material.
Would I recommend the Course?
Overall I think this is an excellent course and I would 100 percent recommend it to anyone who wants to dig into the world of freelancing. However, there are a couple of caveats that you need to be aware of….
Firstly – the course isn’t cheap. Courses such as this never are cheap, and in all honesty, any course which promises grand claims of earning up to six figures but only charging you £100 is probably a scam.
I’ve purposely left the cost of the course out, as they tailor the price of the course based on your individual circumstances, but that being said, expect the cost to be in the low four figure range. They also offer a payment plan so you don’t have to pay the full amount in one go.
However, I will say that the cost of the course reflects the information that you are getting as well as the support that’s provided by the coaches over the course of the 90 day program. Overall, I found it to be good value for money.
Another thing that’s worth mentioning is that this is not some get rich quick scheme! If you’re willing to make the effort and put in the work, you will complete the course and get certified.
At the end of the day, this is a training course designed to allow you to transition into a new career. Once you are certified, you will need to work hard to earn good money, as is the case for all career paths.

Verdict
Overall, the LLMP course is very good, and if you’re a good fit and willing to put in the work, there’s no reason why you can’t transition away from your 9 – 5 and become a freelancer.
